El Rayo - Stills Campaign

After positive feedback from our ‘Investor Video’, El Rayo approached us again to produce a lifestyle photography collection, for a marketing push around ‘gifting’ of their premium tequila. 

Finding a location like the one we did meant we could celebrate the brand's bold and playful attitude, with vibrant colour and a stylish finish. Here we created a  sense of a party in full swing, with El Rayo’s tequila the guest of honour.

Shooting digitally, we wanted to capture a sense of the incidental, uncontrived, feeling of ‘snaps’ from a party. Manipulating the raw images in post-production to resemble the desaturation and noise of Ektachrome also helped create the feeling one is looking through serendipitous snaps, capturing those special moments between friends. 

In order to maximise the deliverables for our client we created several distinct ‘worlds’ within the space, from cozy moments by the fire to laughter around the card table. Because we wanted the assets to be used around the Christmas period, but also throughout the year, sets were dressed and redressed accordingly, massively increasing the deliverables we were able to create.
